　Should a world government be like a hunter-gatherer tribe?

The countries of the planet
are now negotiating a world government.
In that context,
I believe we should heed the words of Lao Tzu:
“Ruling a country is like cooking a small fish.”
It took me a long time
to figure that one out
but I now believe it to be a fractal thing.
In other words,
it becomes a lot easier to understand
countries and civilizations if you think of them as individuals.
So if you think of the world
as an island with 9 people living on it,
complex international relations appear simple.
These nine people have to come up with a minimum set of rules
so they can live harmoniously on the small island.
They also have to agree
to teach each other and help each other if necessary.

The reason 9 makes sense is that
if you look at human history,
you will find that humanity lived for almost its entire existence
as a species in hunter gatherer societies.
Complex civilization only came into existence an eye-blink ago.
If you look at hunter-gatherer societies
you will find they live in small family groups of 6-12 individuals.
US military experiments
have also shown that groups of this size are most effective.

If you analyze the real power structures
of big countries or corporations,
you will also typically find a group of about 6-12
at the top of the power structure.

If you look at the world
you can identify the cultural equivalents of about 9 people:
Africa, China, India, the Muslim countries,
North America, South America, Europe,
the Buddhist countries and the minority peoples.

Hunter gatherer societies usually do not have a leader.
Instead they have respected elders or parents.
Their societies are very free and rules are minimal.
Usually they settle disputes
by discussing things and they help each other out.

For a world government the rules
should be things like an agreement
not to attack other countries
but rather settle problems by discussion.
Also, if other countries
are suffering from starvation or the destruction of nature,
you should agree to lend a hand.

　「世界政府」は「小さな部族」と同じ

世界の国々で現在世界政府を作ろうとする動きがある。
そのためには老子の言葉が参考になる：
「国を治めるのは小さな魚を調理するのと同じ」。
私は長い間その言葉の意味がわからなかったが、
最近理解したつもりだ。
要するに国と文明を個人として考えると、
わかり辛いものがわかりや易くなる。
世界を９人しかいない小さな部族として例えると、
複雑な国際関係が簡単になる。
その９人がこれから一緒に
小さな島に住むルールを作らなければならない。
島から出る計画も立てなければならない。
そして同じ島に住んでいるので、
仲良くするためにお互いの知識を分け合わなくてはならない。

何故９人かというと人類は４０億年前から進化した動物の末だから、
その過去の生活パータンに近い方法がうまくいくはず。
人類はずっと狩猟民族として生活してきた。
農業や複雑な文明生活が始まったのは
ほんの一瞬前のことに過ぎない。
狩猟民族の原型は小さな家族グループで、
６～１２人のメンバーと親戚の似たようなグループの集まりだ。
アメリカ軍でも様々な実験を行った結果、
６～１２人のチームが一番効率的だということが判明している。

いくら大きな国で数億人の人口があっても、
一番上の管理をしている人達を分析すると
基本的にそれぐらいの人数で構成されている。
また世界の文明を分析すると大体９人に至るところが見えて来る。
私はその９人をアフリカ、イスラム諸国、インド、中国、北米、南米、
中国以外の仏教国、ヨーロッパと少数民族だと思う。

狩猟民族の原型に「頭」は基本的にいない。
頂点と呼べるのは尊敬されている長老や親ぐらいだ。
かなり自由な生き方をしている。
最低限のルールは問題を暴力ではなく、
話し合いで決めお互い助け合うことだ。

世界のルールとして、
他の国を侵略して物を盗むことを禁止にするべき。
また他の国と揉め事があった際は戦争じゃなく国際裁判で決める。
そしてもし人が餓死をしていたり、
自然が荒らされていたら助けることを約束とするべき。

　The financial elite have been divided
　between gold and paper factions

Apparently there has long existed a big schism
amongst the financial elite.
The group around the Rothschilds
who began creating fiat money (out of thin air)
were able to accumulate enormous wealth.
To keep themselves in power,
they prevented certain parties
(for example the Thai royal family)
from selling their vast physical gold holdings.
This created what is known as “black gold”
that is real but does not have the stamp from a “recognized refinery”
that allows it to become part of the international financial system.
The story we have all heard about
“all the gold that was ever mined
since the dawn of civilization
would fit in an Olympic sized swimming pool” is apparently a lie.
Some of the numbers I have been hearing are astronomical
and I have also been shown pictures of
what appear to be vast amounts of gold.
The holders of this gold are pushing
for a new gold-backed international financial system.
Personally, I think money should be backed
by a basket of real things (like grain).
However, it is a pretty safe bet the “black gold”
will be allowed into the financial system
and that precious metals
would form a vital part of any basket of commodities.

　世界の「金」のエリートと「紙」のエリートとの対立

国際金融資本家達の間で、大きな決裂がかなり昔から存在している。
紙幣を印刷するだけで「富」を作る権利を得ていた人達と、
金の現物を大量に持っている人達との間で対立があった。
ロスチャイルドなどは
紙を印刷するだけで世界の「富」の多くを持つことが出来た。
大量の金の現物を持っている人達（例えばタイの王室）の一部は
その金を売ることを禁止されていた。
なぜならその国際資本貴族以外の人達がその金を国際金融システムに入れると、
国際権力構造が変わるからだ。
Black Goldもしくは闇金がそのために発生した。
その闇金は大量に存在するにも関わらず、
指定された精錬所の印鑑がなければ使えない。
その闇金を表の金に変えるために様々な方法
（たとえば偽鉱山会社を作ったり）が用いられたが、
相変わらず大量の金の現物は眠っている。

新しい金融制度の発表によって
その闇金を表の金にすることができるようになる。
昔から「今まで人類が見つけた金の全ては
オリンピックの水泳場に入るくらいの量だ」と言われたが、
私が聞いた天文学的な数字が正しければそれは全くの嘘だ。
そんなに少なくはない。
闇金を持っている人達は金本位制の呼びかけをしているが、
私は複数の現物（たとえば穀物）の指数を新しい金融システムの基本にするべきだと思う。
勿論その指数の中に金を含む貴金属が重要な役割を果たすだろう。

　About Christmas and Japanese New Years.

The celebration of Christmas
in the West and the Japanese New Year’s celebrations
have the same origin.
In modern civilization
we do not look at the sky very much
but our ancestors regulated their lives
according to the skies.
The most basic thing they noticed in the winter was that
every day the sun would set further north
and the days would get shorter.
The shortest day is December 21st .
After that, for three days the sun
would appear to set in the same place before setting
further south again on the 25th of December.
That is why the ancient religions
worshipped a sun God who died and was reborn after 3 days.
The Romans substituted Christ for the sun God.
However,the average people continued to celebrate as always:
they would gather their family and have a feast.
In the West they hang a wreath over the door,
in Japan they also hang a very similar type of wreath.
This suggests the custom has a common origin,
one that may go back as far as 40,000 years ago.

欧米のクリスマスと日本の正月は同じ由来がある。
おそらくこの祭日の始まりは数万年前にさかのぼるのだろう。

現代文明人はあまり空を見なくなったが、
従来の人類は空を使って生活の規律を図った。
冬になると太陽の沈む場所が北へ移る。
そして一年で一番日が短くなるのが１２月２１日である。
その後、三日間同じ場所に太陽が沈むように見える。
そして１２月２５日より再び南へ向かって太陽は沈み始める。

これを理由に古代の様々な宗教では、
「神様（太陽の神）が亡くなって三日経ってからまた生き返る」という。
ローマ帝国はその太陽の神を「キリスト」とすり替えた。
しかし人々の行いは殆ど変わらない。
この日には家族全員が集まり御馳走を戴く。
また欧米の家庭のドアの上には、
日本の「正月飾り」と似たものを飾る。
おそらくこの新年の祭りは四万年以上前にさかのぼる。
